Thanks Martin
Unless anyone points out otherwise, I'll take this as meaning that there
is no possibility of digital export of SM descriptions other than as
PDF.

We are in the process of finalising a user specification for the export
of AMIE data, however this is only for information from the national
inventory. Data on schedulings is held in the RSM which is due to be
replaced along with other designation systems (e.g. LBS) by the Unified
Designation System comes on line. Access to this data will include the
ability to export textual and spatial data. This was a clear requirement
from users following the on line questionnaire and focus groups
conducted by Jura for the NMR. If you would like to see what is proposed
this report can be found in the file archive of the HER Forum.

I think it is only PDF's at the moment, but this is due (it as I
understand it) limitations with AMIE's ability to export/import data.
I know EH are aware of this and have plans to remedy this, but I have no
idea of timescales.
So depending on how urgent this is for you, it might be worth waiting a
while/hassling them to find out if its worth waiting a while.
best wishes

Hi,
I asked the NMR Enquiry Service for the SM descriptions only a couple of
weeks ago, and it was provided in pdf.
So, it looks like I'll be copying and pasting.

Subject: [hbsmrusers] Scheduled Mon legal description from EH?
Hi all
We are about to migrate Cornwall CC onto HBSMR (future UG meeting in
Truro?), and one of the things they were asking was whether we could get
the legal description text for schedulings from EH.
I'm familiar with the usual shapefile dataset, but that does not contain
the description. Before I go asking EH direct, does anyone know whether
this can be obtained, and if so who it would be best to talk to?
thanks
Crispin
